this year i am going to:
-study hard when i have to, fangirl hard when i need to (which is all the time, of course)
-try as much as possible not to procrastinate!!
-be braver! have a habit of smiling!
-save up for cf (both for making merch and buying merch)
-learn how to use a better program! (like opencanvas or photoshop)
-draw better! (lolol i need loads of practice for nocturne; it has loads of buildings, and there are..zombies)
-try to not be such a sensitive crybaby! the world outside your little safe bubble of friends is cruel, get used to it!
-.......i dunno, lose weight? (lol you can see where my priorities are)
new people i've met in 2009:
-naili; nainai-tan, thank you so much for encouraging me in my art, and for fangirling with me on things pari doesn't (like Minato and Tekiriko!), and teasing iman with me, and of course, for letting me sit with you when pari sits with mahan. ILU~! Here's to a great year!
-nisa; for most of the year i've sat next to you, i've always thought you were cool. sometimes a little extra douchey but hey, we're all like that. thanks for the small yet meaningful favors you did, intentional or unintentional, and for all the great times we talked about nothing in particular. i'll definitely remember you by the super awesome lines you wrote in my book~Hope you have a great year!
-iman; thank you for the times you comforted me when i cried, even though most of the time it was because you were being a jackass. you always ignored the advice i gave you on proper mannerisms, which annoyed the heck out of me because they're such simple basics. hopefully when i see you next you'll be a better human being, one that i can tolerate. but as much as i'm bashing you now, you'll still be a part of the famiglia to me. our stupid lambo.

-pari/kikuu; oh man, where do i begin? D: Um, let's start with this; thanks for being such an awesome friend. You've been there for me when times were bad, and stuck around to savor the good times and that's more that I could ever ask for. I know I've taken out my frustration on you sometimes, and I'm sorry for that, I just don't want to lose you to someone else, because you're just that awesome. Thank you for sticking with me, even though not many people in your world do. Thank you for all the simple days where we just lazed around in front of the tv and talked about whatever that comes to our heads. Thank you for making me a much more confident person; if it weren't for you and your contagious way of speaking, I'd have never broken out of my quiet little bubble. Thank you for being someone I can call my 'best friend' in pride.

-mazzy-ane; my one and only ane-san! :D Thank you for introducing me into the world of manga; from the days when I would wait for Jo to come back to bring me a new manga to read to this day where I can discuss different titles with you, I could've never been happier. Thank you for being the big sister I never had, from simply drying my hair to kidnapping me for sunway pyramid trips to giving me advice, no matter how small. Also, thank you for being with my brother through the years, and please continue to care for him as much as he cares for you. Have a great year!!
And of course, my by-blood family.
-mum; thank you for being there for me and for supporting the things I love. Thank you for being the coolest mom I could wish for (even the moms on tv are no match for you!) I know that I've done a lot to disappoint you over the years, and I'm sorry. I know a lot of the times you get angry at me is for me own good, because you want me to be a decent human being that can survive the harsh winds of reality yet still be able to laugh and have fun like all hell broke loose. Thank you for tolerating me through the years, I love you. I hope next year will be a great one, especially for you, you deserve it!
-jo; thank you for sticking up for me, even though I've clearly done something wrong. Thank you for being a brother who I can talk freely to, even though sometimes you're not in the mood to talk. Thank you for going the extra mile to do things for me, even when I don't deserve it. Thank you for cheering me on and being frank with me about the things I love, yet never saying I should give up on them. I hope you have an awesome year, because you deserve it. Love you!
-haddy; it's been a harsh year for you, and it's amazing how strong you are to be able to take it. Thanks for being a sign of hope to us all. Thank you for being there when I need big-brother advice. Thank you for having faith in my opinion, like asking me to look at a new guitar or strap and asking me what I think of it. Thank you for the simple mornings when you'd feel like cooking and make those awesome scrambled eggs and mushrooms, no one makes them better, not even mummy. I hope you have an awesome year, because you deserve it. Love you!
